We joined with the developer to combine two properties and create a building of nine luxury condominiums containing from one to three bedrooms. One wall of the façade is clad in reclaimed brick, and weathered Corten steel wraps the projecting bay with complimentary industrial-looking windows. The building – imbued with a traditional yet distinctly modern texture – beautifully integrates into this quiet tree-lined residential street nestled between the vibrant Adams Morgan and Meridian Hill Park neighborhoods in Washington DC.
Light is the star of these units, with glass taking up much of the exterior walls. Soaring ceilings, oak flooring, and high-end finishes, fixtures, and appliances amplify the bright and warm interiors. Integrated lighting extends to the interior of the modern wood and glass cabinetry, further accentuating the ceilings’ height and adding a beautiful touch of interest.
The upper units enjoy private roof decks that provide broad views of the nation’s capital, including the Washington Monument – perfect for a moment of reflection, or a chance to celebrate the beauty that the city has to offer.
