Embracing Washington DC’s past and present was the overarching goal when we embarked on the renovation of this mid-century garden apartment building. While maintaining the original footprint, we strove to provide beautiful, comfortable urban dwellings in a structure with enhanced curb appeal that makes a statement in the neighborhood.

To improve the passage of light through the units, we opened up the centers to provide for a large kitchen and living room area. Integrated lighting join with subtle, modern pendants to amplify the light coming from updated windows and newly cut skylights. Modern detailing and high-end appliances offer a firm footing in the present, while the custom wood cabinets and beautiful wood floors create a cozy warmth.
All the units have two bedrooms and two baths, and the master bedrooms are en suite with walk-in closets. Glass doors on the back of the building further allow for an abundance of natural light, contributing to the feeling of a safe haven in a bustling cityscape.
